Man Mohini Kaul Charitable Medical Trust

Man Mohini Kaul Charitable Medical Trust was established in memoriam of their mother, the late Mrs. Man Mohini Kaul in April 1998 in Hyderabad, India by Dr Reeta K. Thukral and Dr Lalit K. Kaul. It is a tax exempt organization under section 80G of the income tax act, 1961.

Mission Statement:

Provide health services to the under privileged population.

Provide educational scholarships to qualified students who fall short of funds.

Provide relief to those affected by natural disaster.

About The Trust:

The MMKCM Trust established two outpatient clinics and bought a van to provide care in 10 different villages for people who could not afford to come to the city. More than 50,000 people have received care, from minor illnesses to major surgical procedures.

In 2004, the Board decided to provide educational scholarships for qualified students. Presently the MMKCM Trust is sponsoring 82 students from grade school to professional school. We provide tuition fees, uniforms, shoes, books, and stationary.

The MMKCM Trust continues to help with victims of natural calamities. It was involved in a big way in relief of earthquake victims of 2001 in Gujarat, India and also involved in helping Tsunami victims in December 2004.

Recently Board Members visited a Leprosy Center in Bangalore, India. The Trust plans to provide for these Leprosy patients in any way possible.

The MMKCM Trust activities continue to grow. We seek projects where we can make a difference. At times other organizations approach us for our help/contributions.

Tribal Health Initiative:

The MMKCM Trust funded the construction of an outpatient clinic building for care of outpatients in Sittilingi Village, Tamil Nadu, India.

The Trust also supports the tertiary care of patients, who need to be transferred out to bigger hospitals in the surrounding area.
